Does Honey Really Works On Mild Yeast Infection Cases ?
Honey is known for its use in yeast infection cases. Even though it sounds really strange, the benefits of using honey in your diet is extremely helpful for your overall health. Honey does increase the numbers of friendly bacteria in the gut when you add it to your diet. And of course not only for this illness but you will definitely benefit from the use. And that is the reason why so many women swear by honey for treating yeast infection. Especially if you have a mild yeast infection, the symptoms will dissappear in a few days with the use of honey.
Like the use of yogurt, it works just the same with honey. You can either add honey in to your yeast infection diet program or you can surely use it externally. The honey you want to buy is raw-unheated honey, the ones you can find at the health food store. The ones from the grocery store, might not work as well as the raw one. If you are planning on using it externally, all you have to do is, smear the honey on the affected area to be able to cover all the itchy and red spots. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then go ahead and wash it of with unscented, non medicated soap and warm water. You can keep doing this everyday, until your yeast infection symptoms goes away. Or, like I said in the beginning, you can easily add honey in to your diet.
My advice would be, mixing some honey with unsweetened yogurt. That way you will be able to have the benefits of both.
Will It Work If I Have Male Yeast Infection ?
